Janine Payson attended Notre Dame Academy High School where she was a cross country and track runner. She was part of the 4×800 meter National Championship Team and a Staten Island All-Star. After High School, she went to Gettysburg College where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a focus on premedical sciences. Her bachelor’s thesis was “Time to Anaerobic Threshold is the Best Indicator of Performance in Middle-distance Runners” where she compared athletes from three different universities. She was Captain of the cross country and track teams and elected STAR (students Teaching Athletes Responsibility), whereby she was appointed to help athletes balance their athletics and academics.
After college she went on to work as a research technician at Rockefeller Research Center in NYC as well as NYU, and then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Physicians Assistant Program with a love of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She received her Master of Science degree in Physicians Assistant studies.
Janine also works independently as an NCSF (National Council on Strength and Fitness) certified Personal Trainer since 2005 and a spin instructor. She has run two marathons, the first one was the NYC Marathon whereby she was invited to run in the “elite start”; the second was an automatic entry into the Boston Marathon based on a qualifying time. Currently, Janine is venturing into the world of triathlons with hopes to one day complete an Ironman. She lives with her husband and two children and continues to devote her time to her field as an Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Physicians Assistant and Personal Trainer.

Aditi Chandan is a western NY native, growing up in the town of Lewiston around Niagara Falls NY. She graduated from SUNY-Buffalo with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise science and Health and wellness, then went on to earn her DPT from the University of Hartford in 2012. Following graduation Aditi lived and worked in Texas where she gained experience in hospital-based care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedic and pelvic health therapy for Baylor Scott and White Institute of Rehabilitation. During her time in TX, Aditi completed a specialty residency in Men’s & Women’s Pelvic health physical therapy from Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation –Texas Women’s University and subsequently became both a lymphedema therapist, as well as a Board certified Pelvic health specialist. She is an avid fan of hockey, musicals, dancing, and helping my patients reach their maximal potential in all aspects of their daily lives!
