Dr. Husain is a pain management specialist who believes in a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients in pain. While he specializes in procedures involving the spine and peripheral joints, he also incorporates various medical philosophies, including homeopathic medicine.
Dr. Syed Asim Husain is an assistant professor and a part of the Northwell Health system. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine. After medical school, he completed his internship at UMDNJ (Rutgers), followed by a residency at NYU, and a fellowship in pain medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in northern New Jersey, Dr. Husain is fluent in Hindi and Urdu. When not working, he enjoys sports activities such as football, basketball, and lacrosse.
