Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery & Performance Medicine (Staten Island, NY)

Full-Time | Base + Bonus

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing orthopedic and performance medicine team. In this role, you will assist in orthopedic surgical procedures, manage patient care in both clinical and surgical settings, and support treatment plans focused on recovery, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures in hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Perform in-office procedures including injections, aspirations, and biologic therapies
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and performance teams to support patient recovery and long-term outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and EMR records
• Ability to interact and verbally communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and all levels of personnel in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical and surgical environment with strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work independently with general guidance
• Must have consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance

Qualifications:

• Certified Physician Assistant required
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Strong interest in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, and performance-focused care
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in both operating room and outpatient clinical settings
