Physical Therapist (Full time)
iOrtho is currently seeking qualified, licensed Physical Therapists dedicated to furthering their career & skill set and providing quality patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. PT staff will be working in a modernized facility, equipped with state of the art fitness & rehabilitation equipment including Aqua Therapy.
iOrtho is a specializes in outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis on sports medicine, spine, pain management and physical therapy practice. We have been serving Staten Island since 2000 and are committed to helping patients get back to their daily activities. We create a personalized care plan for each of our patient’s condition or injury. Job Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is a skilled professional that is passionate about delivering quality care and making a real difference, responsibilities include:
- Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition with symptoms and review their medical history including referrals from doctors or surgeons.
- Evaluate, Diagnose and develop an individualized treatment plan that fits for their conditions.
- Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition.
- Use of proper equipment in order to ease a patient’s pain and provide stimulation to promote healing.
- Reviews daily clinical schedule and be able to anticipate treatment appropriately.
- Ensures excellent patient care and patient service is always provided.
- Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly.
- Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process.
- Diligent patient record entry/maintenance in EHR is required.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexible hours (including nights and weekends).

Requirements
- Degree from an Accredited Physical Therapist program
- Current, valid New York State license
- 1 year experience preferred in outpatient physical therapy clinic.
